California Pizza Kitchen (CPK) App yorumlar

Gift card

Won’t accept it

Old app was better

Old app was way better harder to check in doesn’t display code for points anymore still love (CPK) but app is way harder to use for customers and employees major step back

This app fails at the most important step: submitting order

I never write reviews. I wasted 30 min of my life trying to submit an order with a gift card. It doesn’t calculate the proper amount I’m paying between a gift card and a credit card if adding a tip. I finally gave up and just made a smaller order. But then it failed because I had selected “asap” which I assume meant whatever time is possible next. This app interprets that literally and gives me an error. I had to manually select a time that it would accept, took a few tries. This is embarrassing to have these issues at check out in 2025. If it wasn’t for the gift card, I would have given up in the first two tries.

Love APP

Love the convenience of the app!! Easy to order and pickup!!

It used to be GREAT

The app used to be very user friendly and efficient until they took out the dining check in button. It is also harder to check your rewards and points.

1 Star APP Development

This might actually be the worst app of any major restaurant franchise of all time!!!! Possibly a world record.

Awful

Whatever they have done to the App is awful. Doesn’t work properly. Can never check in or get points when dining in a CPK only when you place an order. Delivery is usually through Uber Eats & there’s always at least one item missing. Really disappointed.

Food is great, app not so much

Very annoying APP every time I place an order. App doesn’t prompt the save password option or the saved wallet info. I always have to reset passwords and put in card info. If you make an adjustment at the end, all card info you typed is erased, gotta start fresh. I almost gave up eating

Reliable and Good

Their dishes are solid and quality control assures you will get consistent results and tasty dishes. There is not a bad dish to be had. I like the Bolognese spaghetti with fennel sausage. I liked it better when they added a whole sausage and not crumbled sausage.

Cannot sign in

Error after error for the last 3 years and unable to contact anyone to fix the problem.

How long until it works?!?

There are constantly issues with this app whether it’s from logging in or connecting with rewards there’s always something that doesn’t work. I forgot to give my rewards for my to go order that I had to go in to place because the app wasn’t working. I get home with my receipt and try to add my rewards and there’s nowhere in the app I can find to do that. I have clicked on literally every option available to me and nothing. If you Google how to do it, it explains simply that you can but the app doesn’t seem to know that so please fix it so we can use it and get our rewards. Maybe ask Chick-fil-A how their app works or you could use their developer.

Horrible app

You took a great app that was easy to use and included all the useful rewards info and totally destroyed it. There have been numerous complaints and none are addressed and the app continues to be absolutely awful particularly for your best customers.

Confused by offer

Why offer a Free Starter when it simply does not exist. I tried every item. “Something when wrong…” Thanks for nothing. Also I love the pizza. Thank you. I’m just a bit frustrated by the excitement turned disappointment. I’m fine now.

Great value, great food

The new app is difficult to use, not seamless. Why does it have to open to a different window? Inconvenient!

Delivery Charge

The delivery charge and tip, should count as one, not to different prices. 100 percent of the delivery and tip should go to the driver.

Not Good

Not sure why they did this redesign, but the rewards function is entirely broken.

New update is a downgrade

The newest version of the app is such a downgrade from what it used to be. They did away with all functions of what the previous version could do like view/ track your rewards and check in. Basically this app only allows you to order. If you want to see your rewards it leads you to opening up the website & logging in again there. Then I might as well order there as well?

Always a great meal!!

Very happy they brought back the tortilla rolls and Waldorf salad

Not user friendly

Whoever designed this didn’t do any user testing at all. It’s so cumbersome to use and you can’t go back to the previous screen. Please work on it.

BEST PIZZA EVER

I had the best pizza ever it was delicious. Come here.

No Rewards

I don’t understand why the app doesn’t include rewards. The link in the app reroutes you to the website and makes you log in again. The website is not easy to navigate on a mobile device. It would make more sense to streamline ordering and rewards in one place on the app.

Not great

Not a good app. Hard to log in. Can’t apply rewards in the cart. Needs work.

Rewards?

The old app was more user friendly.

Can’t view your rewards

The update is the worst. You can’t see your rewards and it’s so much less user friendly than before.

No check in code

Why would you get rid of the check in code..

Fix needed for kids’ BYO

App is great, however there is a big issue when I try to order the kids’ build your own - I’m limited to 3 BYO pizzas, but I have 4 kids. So I can’t use the app to order, I have to call (and then the call center has messed up my order before). Easy fix - don’t limit the number of BYO pizzas you can order!

Amazing Staff and Amazing Team

I appreciate this team and their friendliness! Thank you for being amazing with delicious!!

Bad - we’ll go to a different restaurant now

A restaurant app should be very easy to use and actually work. This one does not. You should be able to check your rewards easily, etc. All other restaurant apps in this category work perfectly. Why doesn’t yours. Taking my business to other restaurants.

Rewards are glitchy

Twice now I have tried to earn points with CPK, I give the waiter my number and my points don’t show in the app. Don’t even get me started on gift cards and tips. Nothin seems to work. Just get the receipts and call customer services only way to guarantee it will work.

Why change a perfectly good app?

New version is a major down grade

gift card fail

man i literally went to cpk and downloaded this app to use my gift cards and it had errors every time i tried to use it so i gave up

Big failure

Big failure. Myguestaccount.com was blocking me from accessing CPK app. What is that all about?

Love CPK

I really appreciate how easy it is to order online and get the food early in the day! Most restaurants start so slowly. Not you guys! Keep up the great work!

(CPK) APP

Most ridiculous APP I’ve used. Placing order says Tip goes 100% to driver. Then APP adds a 21.2% Delivery Fee which, “is retained by CPK to support administrative costs.” (Which are probably higher to pay the developer of CPK’s clunky APP) Told me I used wrong UNM OR PW minutes after I signed up on my desktop. Took almost an hour. Website said delivery is available until 10PM. Not true. I had to change my delivery to 10AM Wednesday; such a disappointment 😔

Terrible Update

Keeps telling me new app and when I go to it it’s the same one. Can’t find my birthday reward. It even told me page was not secure. Horrible update

Login feature not working properly

^^^

Dumb signup

What are you guys doing? It’s a rewards program for takeout. Why does it feel like I’m getting a DOD secret clearance. KISS!

Bad

This app is probably the worst food app I’ve used. Why add rewards and coupons if I can’t even use them.

Bad update

Can’t check in or log in - they changed the user name to an email & it won’t connect to my account anymore-

Feature to check in is missing

No way to check in and get a pizza dough code anymore. Our server was equally stumped. I’ve spent 20 minutes trying to get this to work the way the employees say it should. Not a useful update.

App doesn’t work

Tried multiple to login even after I forgot password it still doesn’t work

New App is Useless

I’ve used the CPK app for my rewards for the last 7 years. It was user friendly, I could find where my rewards were and how much. Now the app is so confusing, I can’t look up my rewards, it had me login multiple times within the app, it’s incredibly frustrating. I don’t know why they changed it. It was perfectly fine before.

Bad

False advertise Offering unredeemable coupons

Rewards need to be on the app

The previous version was much better. Since the rewards removed from the app, now I need to login via browser but UI and accessibility are not good as much as before.

Glitchy

The new version is hard to get used to, but I usually only used it to check in and see my points and awards. It doesn’t let you check in anymore, which is fine, but it’s glitchy regarding reward points. It keeps saying I need to add my location or start an order to check my rewards, but the location is correct and I’m not ordering on the app.

App needs to be fixed

“Check in” feature doesn’t exist on this new app. Also extremely difficult to see what current rewards you have. Operates like a browser and isn’t streamlined very well

New app update post re-design & “sunsetting” of the check in code feature!!

I frequent CPK beyond regularly, I’ve persistently had an elite level in the rewards program due to the high level of frequency I have dined over the years… I share a similar sentiment with some of the other recent reviews in here, the newly redesigned app is absolutely atrocious, it is basically just a website stuffed into an app & not even week implemented for its now rather basic function… While, the use of the term “sun setting” sounds pleasant, like a trip to Hawaii to see a shining sunset, the loss of the check-in code system, is anything but that… I used that every time I visited, it was extremely efficient to only have to provide the random three digit code or just show the screen on your phone even restaurant is packed full of people, as when the restaurant(s) is/are busy, they are usually very noisy inside, so now you end up either repeating or having to shout your full phone number to the wait staff, plus you also get the benefit of having anyone in ear shot now hearing your phone number being said aloud, which in our time of ID theft and data breaches is actually not a desirable thing to have to do! Other than placing an order or looking at the menu (I think), I’m trying to now figure out what this version of the app would even ever be used for, you certainly cannot quickly see your pending points and rewards, or what recently expired etc. & The menu is not intuitive / useful You can eventually navigate around to the rewards setting, but there’s very little in there that’s actually useful in the moment when needing to use it at the restaurant, and that often involves a lot of pinching and zooming on the phone screen since that takes you to a secondary website for the rewards. Webpages inside of apps are an absolutely atrocious thing to have to contend with on a regular basis… I love CPK and I loved the version of the app before the Hawaiian sunsetting scheme was implemented… It seems other customers have similar sentiments as I’m reading the most recent reviews in just the iOS App Store here. Wait staff at the restaurant also have shared that they hear a lot of complaints from other patrons, so it certainly is not just me. This seems a rather horrible marketing decision if this decision was made by the marketing department… I would really hope corporate is paying attention to these reviews and would “de-sunset” the sunsetted check-in feature…. Let’s have the sunshine back!!! The entire revision really made an app that was exceedingly useful, feel essentially useless, as well as being horrifically clunky to have to navigate & provide absolutely useless data about the one thing you want to know when you’re sitting in the restaurant, rewards do you have, what is the check-in code, check your transaction history in a clean UI to see if anything might’ve been missing from a prior visit, etc. etc., as well, I have absolutely no reason to place an order sitting inside the restaurant through the app… So between privacy considerations, like announcing your phone number to everyone sitting around you, & the noise level on a busy night in these restaurants, so the multiple times that you must repeat your phone number to the staff & have to speak much louder etc… It just makes me want to never open the app essentially. Please, please, please CPK, engage in the de-sunsetting of the check-in code feature, and go back to letting the app have more of an actual UI versus stuffing webpages into the app. Oh yes, and once you do, dig around on the poorly formatted webpages to get to the reward section, you’re often than greeted with the lovely requirement of now needing to login again to that part of the site, even though your account is already logged into the app… So if you have slow cellular connection, which unfortunately is the case at my location due to the dense concrete construction of the building, if you’re not jumping on the guest Wi-Fi, which again for privacy reasons is a less desirable thing to do these days… Then waiting for webpages to load inside the app takes time… I sat next to a gentleman at the counter, who overheard me giving my phone number to The waiter for the rewards, who overheard the entire conversation, which is otherwise fine, but then he wanted to try to sign up for it, and he spent over a half an hour sitting there at the counter and eventually gave up… So on every level this app isn’t just a step backwards, it actually feels like they went from having a paid developer to having pulled someone who just started coding and stripped out all the useful features of the app. I certainly would hope I’m wrong about that, but with the background in IT and having worked for software development companies in the past, I am familiar with hardcoded GUI interfaces versus webpages in an app… I’m very curious to hear from corporate, why this decision was made and why it’s considered “improved or better”? My 2 cents & an actual question! Randy

My order is always messed up

This is the second time with Ron 2 months what my order has been handled very poorly by the staff in the Kailua location. I never got a phone call back from the manager from my original complaint. Now tonight they missed at item in salad. How frustrating!

Update is terrible

The new update is just the online website on an app. It’s so hard to use and confusing to navigate. You’re going to lose customers bc of how difficult it is to utilize
